Clunk sound in front

just bought a 05 g35 sedan-161 k - car runs and shifts very well-any expansion joint or bump in the road a Klunk noise appears- if I go over a speed bump it is solid- any ideas

Klunk with a capital K.

Get the car up on jackstands and start prying around on things and you'll probably find it. My bet is FUCA ball joint.

Update

whoever replaced
the front control arms left two of the three bolts out. Ouch!! Replaced but but still klunkish noise. Looks like tie rods and lower ball joints are toast
