I don't get that anyone has been "uppity", it certainly wasn't me. I'm just not a fan of the "Mexiflush" look and expressed my opinion. Glad you got your console issue fixed, it doesn't really matter what it looks like, when the lip is closed no one can see it anyway. $3 FTW!!

Center console sometimes it's easier to install some kind of magnetic closer to keep them shut.

Engine bog on low throttle is usually a vacuum leak.
