Trans shifter bulb on console
Just replaced bulb so I can now see the PRNDL in the dark. Bulb was burnt out for years. However, all 5 letters are the same brightness....so I cannot tell (in the dark) which position the lever is in by looking at console plate.
Shouldn’t the selected position of the lever be brighter than the others ?
In other words, if I’m in Drive, shouldn’t the “D” be brighter than the others ?

Just started looking at my 05' that has the same problem. As soon as I get the bulb replaced I'll chime in what mine looks like.
