Update: over 50k miles on the FCS preloaded struts and still going strong. They have exceeded expectations for the price.

How's the ride quality compared to the OEM struts?

I can confirm the ride quality is equivalent to the OEM struts. I just don't like that they raise the front end by 1/2" - 3/4". For that reason I wouldn't recommend them.

I think FCS sells the same part number for coupe or RWD sedan. Since I installed these struts in a rwd sedan, I saw no difference in ride height.

My vehicle is the AWD sedan. I cannot comment on ride height for the RWD vehicles.

I'm thinking to buy the FCS struts and shocks for my 03 G35 sedan with sport suspension. What year is your car and did you have sport suspension?

2004 base rwd sedan, not sport.

Do you live in a cold or hot climate? I read they are not good in cold weather. How's your experience?

I drove on mine for 2 Canadian winters. They saw -40 degrees, cold and hot weather operation were the exact same.

The struts themselves felt just like OEM. I just didn't like that the front end sat about 1/2" higher. Keep in mind I'm talking about the FCS strut/spring/mount unit as a whole.

How they are holding up? How many miles and how long you had them?

24,855 miles on them, still feel brand new. Installed them in May of 2019, not much driving the last couple years with covid. Going to be removing them soon though.

Why are you removing them? What you installing instead?

BC Racing DS coilovers on swift springs. Turning the G into a proper summer car.
