You'll get back your normal timing advance of 45 under throttle once you fix that knock sensor. The engine pulls a TON of timing when it's not reading it. Everything else sounds pretty normal

 

Thank you guys for all your help I changed out the wire using hangers and makeshift tools come to find out at the sensor side no wires were connected. Feels fast again and took me about 20 min. You guys are great

Nope now it's feeling off again guys here's the numbers I'm looking at when it's running sluggish no codes and no pd codes either

 

Log bank1, 2 CAMSHAFT advance and see what that's doing. With 30 degrees timing you should be around 40 degrees advance on the intake cams.

Car is in limp mode right now driving normal like about 20 mph but if u pump on the gas a few times it drives fast as hell? So the car isn't reading any check engine light because it needs to be driven a certain amount of miles before it pops up again I'm on limp mode for almost 6 months my belt squeals so bad but the belt is newish I had to replace my battery several times until I looked more into this. My anti light is flashing even after unlocking the car so I noticed my passenger window wasn't going up or down which was odd cus I paid 250 for brand new motors to be install so it shouldn't have stopped working so my theory is my car was broken into or attempted to break into so caused my car to lock the anti theft alarm so with that being on my car automatically went into limp mode. Limp mode is an intelligent operating system but also difficult to resolve. I found out after changing window motors or locks you have to reprogram your car..after changing battery or unplugging u gotta reprogram car..same as radio system or spark plugs etc that being said once u reprogram what u need to reprogram dnt forget to reprogram your key as well once u get the limp mode or anti theft alarm to disarm then more then likely ur problems will be free

 

If you're in limp mode you ARE throwing a code.

 

Does anyone know what the maximum retard angle is for camshaft timing? Bank 1 stays at -17 unless the vvt solenoid is activated and then it matches the timing on bank 2

 

My scanner won't read cam timing just spark timing. Also my 02 upstream sensors at idle go from .06 volts to .76 fluctuating. I read if it drops below .10 or above 1.0 the sensor is not good but no codes for that on. Does that mean mine are not good idk if they ever been changed.
