how to reset the ecu???

i have the SES light on
how do i reset the ecu???

or disconnect the positive then negative terminals on battery.

touch them together for 10-15 seconds.

reconnect

Let me suggest a better way to reset the ECU (going from memory here). Turn car to on position (lights come on but car NOT started). Count three seconds. Then pump/release the gas pedal all the way to the floor and back 5 times in 5 seconds. After the 5th release, wait 7 seconds. Then depress the pedal and hold for 10 seconds. The SES light should illuminate and flash. Let off the pedal then hold for 10 more seconds. Then turn off the car.

A stopwatch is extremely helpful the first time or two.

I tried doing the pedal thing, and that didnt work. When im done with break in ill try it again.
