I love the car. I have some things I think they could have done differently or better, but nothing major.

The steering is quite precise with no wobble at all. It sounds like you have a problem they can't or won't diagnose and fix. I agree with getting another dealer's opinion.

My Audi A4 drove well, but had many, many problems and I would not get one again at this point.

Sounds like your model was a poor build - I'd be pretty upset about any new car having build issues like that. In my opinion, what's not to love about a rock solid 350Z with 4 doors?

IMO for a sedan it's the best on the market (in it’s class) - price, performance, styling, etc... it didn’t receive so many high marks from Car and Driver, Motor Tend, etc. for nothing!

I test drove several cars before deciding on the G sedan... my only regret is that I didn’t get the coupe or 350Z - at the time of purchase I needed the extra room to accommodate clients and comfort for long biz trips... my needs have changed and now I wish I had better performance.

I wouldn’t let one service dept get you down - I had horrible experience with the service where I bought the car (although the sales team was great), I have been taking it to a different dealer for service and have been happy. Go to another dealer for service and you might have better luck. Or sell it and buy another Audi...

Like I said for a sedan it awesome! I'm very happy with my purchase.

The stereo can always be replaced!

The quick brake wear was my only complaint!

DITTO ... no regrets at all. In my book the G is the absolute best deal-drive on the market today.

no regrets....

Coming from a 99' M3 to this I wasn't sure but I have to say that I am happy with my car (04' coupe 6mt). I was tired of getting my car (m3) being compared to a galant. Heard that it looked like one too many times. The only issue I had was the bose system could have had more base. So I fixed that with a 4080 box/jl audio 500 watt amp
Could be quicker but nothing a few little mods can't help.

OK, I do have one little gripe. When I pull up behind a G35 sedan I feel it could look a little more "sporty". The 3/4 view from the back is fine, but from directly behind it seems a bit too tall. I think the A4, 3 Series and TL look a little better from this view IMHO. I love all the other angles...especially when I'm walking up to the drivers door and the front tire is turned out ...just a great view the way the fenderwell curves over the tire.

I love the sound of the engine/exhaust so much I hardly turn up the radio. Other than that, I love the power and sportiness, best I have had yet. Also, being able to take just about any sedan and most coupes is a nice rush too.

I totally agree with the "too tall" from directly behind, I like all other angles though. I've tried to explain to my girlfriend the "too tall" thing, she doesn't see it. Admittedly the A4 looks good, but poor reliablility, 3 series... I hate the BMW stigma, Acura makes great cars (I've owned 2) the TL, RL and even TSX are great cars but I don't like FWD - I think we chose the right one!

Totally satisfied here- I The more miles I put on this car, the better it seems to drive.
Very happy with my choice and glad I didn't go with another German car-
One of the best cars I have ever owned.

I was happy with the G's I test drove, just not the one I ended up with. And since any "bugs" in previous new cars I've bought have been easily resolved, I guess I just got lazy with the G. The lack of a careful enough test drive of my specific car means that I now either sell it and take a $5000 bath, or spend a ton of time trying to get the problems resolved (I've already got more than 20 hours into going back and forth to the dealer).

But you might be right; maybe another dealer could find a missing $0.05 washer that would cure my ills, and make it into the car I thought I was buying. As you say, all those rave reviews are based on something. I'm sure the process is what is souring me on the car, magnifying and making me dwell on the negatives.

i wish infiniti had a better reputation....i know we all say that our Infiniti's are better than Lexus's and BMW's and that may be true....but the fact remains that they have better name recognition than we do!!!
