2003.5 sedan, 15K miles, front pads replaced at dealer under warranty, no audible wear indicator (just felt rough), 80% city/20% country roads. No improvement in brake dust!

2003 AT Sedan. I have 37K on the car. Replaced the front pads and rotors at 15K. Replaced the front pads again at 30K (resurfaced rotors). Back pads were replaced at about 8K for excessive noise. Now that I am out of brake warranty, the brakes are squeaking like mad! Probably go to aftermarket pads, either greenstuff or hawk. Any preference??

2003 5AT Sedan 67K mikes: new front pads every 15K miles, new front rotors every 30K mikes. I'm on my third set of front rotors now, second set of rears.
The rears do indeed wear much less. really sucks!

2003 G35 Sedan with 25k miles, thus far changed pads (F & R) and front rotors at 10k, at 18k changed front pads and again at 25k.

anywho know the status on the Civil Action Suit against Infiniti?

also how are Brembo pads, much more life expectancy compared to stock ones?

Brakes just started to squeal at 17K miles on passenger side when braking. Just took it in today. They said they had 60% left on the pads but were dirty. They cleaned them, no charge, and reminded me to come in anytime prior to 36K to get the replacement brakes. They estimated I could get another 15K on the present brakes. Based on this forum, I doubt it. Anyway, no squealing when I left the dealer. We'll see how long it holds up.

I don't understand how the majority of '03-'04 owners have been getting 15-17k out of brakes, then someone posts like above, 60% left at 17k, 28k still on original brakes, do these people never stop, or are they only driving total highway miles? On my '04, at 15k, my fronts were down to just under 3mm, so they were replaced, and it's not my driving, I have always gotten a minimum of 40 out of front brakes on every disc brake vehicle I have owned. BTW, glad I got the '05, no black wheels even after two weeks!
