ok, sorry to resurrect an old thread, but i wanted to let those of you who are interested, that it does make a difference (imo). i'm only partially done. i still need to do do the rear parcel shelf and the trunk lid. but after just moving the car around after finishing, i was able to notice less annoying drone coming from the rear. i will definitely follow up w/ a final reports after i finish and take it out for a spin.

i used b-quiet ultimate (ebay). altho i'd imagine that dynamat/fatmat would work just as well. i picked up a 50ft roll and went thru somewhere btw half and 2/3rds of the roll, granted i doubled up over the muffler and wheelwells and overlapped in alot of other places. i'm going to mimic inTgr8r and put some hi density foam in the rear quarter panels and behind the back seat (you should see the foam they used behind that). i'm actually contemplating doing the doors in the future.

sorry to revive an insanely old thread, but i wanted to let people know my latest findings. when i first started this thread, it was hot as hell (some days hitting 90+). i've got a feeling that the hotter it get's the louder the drone get.

i recently replaced my intake filter and went back to the stock box w/ a KN drop in. that coupled w/ the MD plenum spacer and the coupe midpipe, i've finally gotten the sound i've been seeking. i'm looking to install the MD iso thermal upgrade at some point, however, i'm hoping that the drone will be finally done with.
