Well if you have a 2005 6spd don't even bother right now since the only dynos done showed nothing or even losses.

Uh ...yuh. I'll get right on it. Could be/is a classic case of me not having the time to spend, what little time I've got to myself and family, in the shop for a better part of a day. So, why don't ya hang on while I post a picture of me not caring what you think. Lighten up...If I knew you were the site 'modmeister' I would've contacted you prior to making any (mods) for approval first. Thanx jbx

BooHooHooo you can keep on modding your car and posting your butt dynos on here but really means nothing. There is a Tornado Air intake that will give you 50+HP. Not proven but just buy it anyways. All I am trying to say is you should spend that little bit of extra time or money to find out if these mods even do anything then post about it. Why are you spending all this time and money on modding your car if you don't even go to the track? So you can have the longest Sig list of mods? Gimme a break you have brake pads, clears, pedals, tint and ground as note worthy mods (just missing stickers) in your sig which you have listed in every post. Try using your sig once a thread or even once in a while. Lose the pop charger as well if you want more power back or do you have it because it makes more noise and makes you feel like your going faster? Btw I drive a stock 6spd.

why all the hostility?

he has spent a ton of time and money modding his car. hes added another mod and is here to share his experience with others. he already said how its difficult getting a x on a dyno.(fell your pain) the beauty of this forum is that others can prove the gains these mods make. you do your research then you go out and do it yourself. no need to see times that others have already produced.

ive spent thousands of dollars on mods and labor fees and have never taken my car out on a track and dont plan on it. not sure where you see the relationship with modding a everyday street car and track time.

"a case of modding with no difference in a straight line" quit talking out your ***.

Sounds like a case of jealousy to me. Why get so upset at a guy for having fun modding his car...just because you don't. If you're happy with your stock 6spd., great...he has as much right to be happy modding his car any way he damn well chooses.

Stop being such an ***hole!!

That is a very lame reply. It's "fun" modding a car and wasting money on performance mods that he can't even prove if they do anything? That sounds pretty stupid actually and is ricer mentality. Cosmetic mods are fine to an extent but performance mods without any first hand evidence or independant 3rd party is lame. This entire thread is useless since there is no proof it has done anything. "My slip light comes on during start and 2nd gear". Whoopdie doo! I guess we should all go buy one now! You have friggin' oil in your sig list of mods...sad!

Hey 'ting....be careful when ya turn around....the stick up your *** might hit your mom in the face. How can I argue with a guy with all your experience (and a 6spd.too)? I've probably backed up further and faster than you've driven forward. Don't like my signature? Why.......because YOU don't use one? Give me a break.

This post is as useful to this thread as your first one.

"Finally got my APS Tallboy Plenum installed. Holy sheeeet! An 'add-on' that really works on an N/A engine. Must've picked up 10 RWHP on the low and mid-range for $45.00 per HP ! Don't ask about a dyno on my AWD......ain't none avail. But, my slip ind. lights up on every start and shift to 2nd ...HOO HAA.! BCool, JBX"

Damn that is a lame ricer post.

So the 10rwhp you gained in your butt dyno offsets the low end losses from your pop charger. Oh wait the pop charger makes all sorts of noise so it must be making you massive power. Sad....

PS Since your showing your ignorance I let you know a secret...My other ride is your mom.... she is my winter beater!

Gting, you sound like simply another internet car forum wannabe. It's like the military: "be all you can be". You can shoot your mouth off and talk about somebody's mother all you want on the web since you don't have to go toe to toe with somebody and back up your lip. I put whatever I want in my sig, and you have every right to put absolutely nothing at all. Free forum, free country, free internet. Why get all puffed up and upset?

Probably just turned 13, and got a new computer for his birthday.

Read the thread. Everything I said is true and he started the mother talk. This is a lame thread big time!

Looks good, I would also like to see a shootout of every plenum....

If modding your car brings more enjoyment to your life, be it because of the power, noise, etc., that is all that matters. I try to make driving as enjoyable as possible, everybody else on the road makes it pretty miserable. I do anything I can to bring some of the joy back, or I would drive an unmodded Ford 500, Camry, or Accord. I bought and modded my G because it brings some enjoyment to my life.

JBX seems to get some enjoyment from his car and mods, I think that is what really matters.... I fail to see how a dyno makes a mod worthwhile, I can halfway buy the track argument. People buy and mod cars for different reasons BTW.
