I hate to admit it but in one (and only one) sense I have to agree with Gting (but certainly not his bling-bling-gting name). That is JBX threw out an actual figure of 10RWHP. Granted it sounds like he has the experience to make a claim, but on the surface it does *sound* bad and I can see where Gting might take exception. Maybe if he said something more along the lines of "I can't tell you what the exact power gains are if any, but the difference in the way it pulls is significant". Ok, maybe not quite that lame but you get the pic. <grin>

Otherwise I appreciate JBX's post as I have an interest in it (JBX - love your car and color), and I thing Gting is just being a jack-a$$. My suggestion to him is to do some/any wrenching/driving of his own car and then post his experiences. Just sitting back and absorbing everyone else's posts is lame. Like living life through watching TV. Contribute to the forum instead of pissing and moaning.

every message board has a "gting" its just unfortunate to see one on this type of a board. This thread reminds me of something I would find on a Honda board.

JBX, thanks for the post and taking the time to share your experince and pictures.

What an annoying fcuktard you are Gting (thanks startertan for that word)
It takes absolutley nothing to chip away at others while putting out absolutely nothing about yourself. At least BrilliantX and Chico enjoy their rides where as you are just some bitter shrew who probably rides the bus.
I look at the threads you've started and I see a lot of questions being asked of the very people you apparently have no respect for. All I know is they've been very helpful to me in furthering my enjoyment of my car and this site and you've just been a loud mouth goof. Show me dyno proof of the results of ONE of the mods you've been enquiring about as you **** around with midpipes and window tints.

PUT UP OR SHUT UP A$$HOLE!

PS. For the record - I wouldn't touch your Mother since she passed that douchebag of a son of hers thru that skanky old hole!

I never got the impression that jbx was making any scientific claims. His 10hp was just a measure of how much faster it felt - not a whole lot, but a noticeable gain.

It's true that aftermarket parts makers come up with some interesting numbers but the only way to truly know if they work, is for people to try them. Dyno runs are nice but in the end, it's just a piece of paper that you may not be able to trust. If enough people like jbx try something out and give favorable reviews, I would be comfortable getting one myself. That's how this system works, so quit giving this guy grief. He's doing us all a favor.

I understand your questioning the10rwhp number and where it came from. It was predicated upon a dyno done on an 04' 350Z w/an APS TT,by MRC in Oldbridge NJ, a few weeks ago. It got an increase of ---23rwhp--- (w/an equal amount of torque) over the baseline test prior to the APS plenum install. Jason, from MRC, will be posting the test in the near future and will be doing one on my car, hopefully,.....as soon as I can come up with an extra couple hundred bucks and at least a half a day of traveling I can afford to spend ..lol. (Maybe Miss 'ting will give me the cash since it's so important to him for my car to be dyno'd). One thing I found to be interesting (but apparently very normal in the V35) is the amount of blow-by residue that collects in the OEM plenum base.... even in a NA engine. Not enough to warrant a catch can , but enough to require cleaning (if you're as **** as I am...lol) Anyway.....JBX

Thanks JBX for taking the time to post your info here. Those of us who are interested certainly appreciate it. Those of us who aren't interested can simply change the channel to another station or go **** themselves in the corner.

But at any rate thanks again.

I noticed your insightful post in the thread. The plenum "looks great" WOW now that is a joke
I stand correct...you're a sore loser always sidestepping the issues when confronted dead on by ohers. You're only making yourself look more and more like an idiot as you go on. No substance just bull$hit!

We're still waiting for some answers to YOUR claims.

Ouch! Stung by your brilliance! Not.
Still nothing factual from you. No dyno results, no timing slips, no photos, no nothing. You can spend time looking at gay volleyball sites (We understand closetman) and know how to post links but still can't put your results where your mouth is.

You are a giant loser B1tch.

Numbers wise I have your Mom's. And believe me she has been driven hard and put away wet many times. Dyno proven and she has done many laps around the track. And I know where her mouth is...

A stock 6spd will rip your ride as well. And I am sure that isn't the first time you have been "ripped" lol

i love playa haterz. because it makes me feel good that those haterz have such a sucky life that they try to make others around them miserable. i guess thats why haterz never have friends becasue they think they are better then other , when in realty they are at the bottom of the chain, thats why they always stand alone, no friends! nothing!
if you are just going to talk trash about other peoples mods, then why log on here? what mods have u done to ur car> Gting?

Still nothing? No lap times? No 1/4 mile times? Perhaps you would like to race me to Whistler in February? Then who would be faster? Who cares. I am fast enough for me and you are still a dumba$$ slack jawed yokel.

Produce something needledick.

One thing I've noticed- the topic of aftermarket plenums and plenum spacers always seem to end in drama. Check out the one in the coupe section.

In any case, good to see you are happy with your new plenum. I hear a great combo mod to maximize your performance gains are hi-flow cats. I'm looking into them currently.

Speaking of.... hey Gting, you don't have any pre and post dyno numbers for this mod, do you?
