Yes, but it would be nice if you could not have the orange REV in your face all the time. If you know of a way to turn that off please let me know.Originally Posted by shodog

Keep in mind that my '03 doesn't even have this feature but couldn't you set the rev light to come on at an rpm that is higher than the rev limiter? you will bounce off the rev limiter but you won't see the light.Originally Posted by Mr. G

Funny thing is that alot of people go out of their way to put in a rev warning light and you want yours removed.

The REV light is actually two: One is an amber indicator ("REV") that's on all... the... time... no matter what you do. The second is the good bit: A flashy red square that blinks as you approach and hit your programmed rev limit. Setting the rev limiter only affects when and how often the red flashy bit flashes.Originally Posted by shodog

The amber REV light is more annoying than the red shift light. If anyone knows how to turn it off, by all means let us know.

The red light can be turned off by setting it above readline. However, the orange "REV" below the actual rev light is always there. I believe that is what everyone is referring to. I agree that it is somewhat annoying since all you really need is the red light itself. If it annoys you that bad, you can cover it up with a small bit of black electrical tape.

The interior material selection is definitely my top choice for "what was Infiniti thinking when...", but given how many times that's already been said, I'm going to go with the stupid headlight switch with the auto headlamps between OFF and ON. I can't turn my (expensive, sensitive to power-cycling Xenon) headlights off from the "ON" position when I pull into my garage without going through Auto, which forces them on and then off again. Silly. Auto should be in the other direction from Parking/ON so it goes Auto - Off - Parking lights - On.

.....is it the same on 06's?Registered User
Alternative is to get the car in the garage, turn the engine off with the headlights on, then turn the headlight switch to off. This way, the lights do not come back on through the auto position. I aggree, the order should be as the prior post, auto-off-parking-on.

Or lease and leave em on auto. By the time those things burn out I'm driving an '07 or '08.
Why dont you fuc*ing babies stop whining about your STOCK sound systems. If you dont like it go buy a new one. After all you could afford the $35K car, go spend a grand on a new system instead of whining like little biatches.

Why don't you leave your confrontational attitude at the door? Also, is it your business to question other people's finances? Also, have you priced out a complete replacement for the bose system? With decent components, to replace everything, including amp and rear sub, is well in excess of a thousand dollars. Additionally, many people might prefer spending that budget on performance related mods. Originally Posted by Gdup35sedan
