The nismo is the same as the AEM, so don't waste your money on it when the AEM is the same model and cheaper. The 3 most popular intakes are the Injen Cold Air intake, the AEM/Nismo, and the Z Tube with the pop charger. On the top of the screen there is the tab that says forums, then go to search. You can search previous posts that have pages upon pages of information that has been previously discussed.
All the answers to everything and everything ever done to a G35 is on there, from intakes, to rims, to systems, just gotta use the search.

Goodluck and welcome!

The search reveals that there is little, if no, gain by doing intake mods. Save your cash.

If you get the Nismo CAI there would be no need for the Z-tube.

for sound change and value, go for ztube and a K&N drop in, the ztube definitely increase the intake sound (sounds a LOT better to me) and the K&N is well reusable and a good filter so that justifies its use. Cheap and actual results, performance wise who knows but at least I didn't spend 300 bucks to find out!

Yea, I agree guys. Intakes in general add a nice growl. And I'll probably do it for that reason.

I think I paid around $140 for everything shipped and installed it myself.

I was a little freaked out at first because I had never done any mods before and especially not on a $40,000 car, but I did it. It is EASY and I am a GIRL.

Search the forum for a DIY.
