The mags say 6.1-6.2. My 03 with just a Z pipe is probably doing closer to 5.9 because most cars that do 14.4-14.5s usually get 5.8-5.9 0-60s. I wouldn't worry to much about 0-60. It's the 1/4 mile and trap speed you should be concerned about.

I don't know bout you, but I care a heck of a lot more about 0-60 then my track times ... since I actually own the car to get me somewhere, not as a hobby

You have to look at it this way, how often do you really do 0-60? You can gear a car or put in AWD to pull off really good 0-60 times, but after 60mph, the car may be a dog and really isn't very strong once you take the launch out of the equation. I like cars that pull decently strongly off the line, but I really want them to pull strong from a roll because that's where I spend most of my time flogging the car. Once in a blue moon will I go WOT from a stop on the street.

Good point DaveB ... highway on-ramping is usually when we all do it most. Ain't it great to be passing folks while you are on-ramping and she is still climbing to her "hot" band?
