Now, for me, I leave the rubber mats in all the time. My carpeted mats are in a box in the basement, brand new, ready for my buyer when I sell. I did the same thing with my previous car and believe me, the buyer appreciated that the mats were new - really blew him away and added to the fact that I kept my car so pristine.
