Stolen Infiniti's
lojack cost me 400 installed by the dealer when I bought mine. I don't have the early warning system, but its nice to have considering that I live 30 minutes from mexico. I didn't much of a discount on my insurance as I thought, but then again, the insurance (2 full coverage 1 liability) for 3 vehicles, renters insurance and my wifes wedding ring is less than $140 a month USAA is the best. hell, my neihbor just bought a harley that has lojack and satellite radio, so it can't be that rediculous
i have lo jack on my car n my car is worth $47k, and i have the 2nd lo jack on my car. I like lojack, cuz like not only can it be for when ur car is stolen, but if some1 comes in your car n takes u hostage or w/e. If ur gone from your house for a long period of time n ur mom calls the cops, the cops will activate lojack and find u n ur car right away. Thats a main reason y my mom demanded me to get lo jack.. cuz shes always like "They see a pretty girl step out of a really nice car..I WANT UR CAR TO HAVE HIGH SECURITY!!" silly mommies
My twin sisters Passat also have the lojack, but we got it free because the guys that sold us the car was being an a-hole n told us the wrong info about passat n gave us the wrong price.
One con is if i decide to run away from home with my car.... my mom will b able to find me in a heart beat. lmao

Think about this: I stopped to get my oil change at the quick change place. My keys got locked inside (Sedan). It took the pimple faced 17 year old grease jockey exactly 30 seconds to pick the door open.
He had a little pump up bladder that he slipped into the side door and pumped it up enough to get this 5 foot long tool in through the crack. Then he just popped the lock on the door open.

i had 2 cars stolen over a year ago from my own home. went out with my wife and some friends and when we got back the garage was open and cars missing. the thieves broke into my home with the house alarm blaring... took the car keys and drove off. rent-a-cops came but by that time it was too late (all within 15 min according to their dispatch logs). i now have a theft recovery system on both my new cars (boomerang here in canada). as others have said... it's piece of mind. some people complain that it's too expensive... yet they'd rather spend the same amount of money on an elaborate car alarm that chirps or speaks to u when u approach the vehicle too close. what's the point of this? if they really want your car they'll get it... don't kid yourself with the mickey mouse alarm system. and if u say ... don't worry, u'll get your money from insurance anyways... u've never dealt with an insurance company for a large claim before. factor in depreciation costs on your vehicle and the headache starts too escalate. besides... knowing that i may be able to catch the a$$hole who took my car in the first place is more than worth it.

When I bought mine they asked me if I wanted Lo-Jack, I denied it. I work for Nissan, and I have not heard of one single car being stolen that has the Nissan Immobilizer system.
