I have talk to those guys, at a funeral in fact. Friend of mine died riding a wheelie doing around 110. Car switch lanes in front of him and bam, end of his journey through life, at only 19.

Another friend of mine died when he went through the windshield of his talon just off big bend and 270.

Another friend of mine died when he got t-boned by some *** hole down off elm street.

My cousin hit a minivan doing 120; totaled his eclipse, broke his girfriends shine bone, and had her twin sister get hit in the head with his sub box, giving her a concussion.

Another friend of mine flipped his brand new S2k off the road and broke a telephone pole in half...with the roof area. His girlfriend had 4 surgeries afterwards.

I get on people's cases because having 3 friends die under the age of 25 is not fun.

You wanna do 130? Take it to the track. Take it to an abandoned air strip. Take it OFF the public roads. All it takes is someone to get off an on-ramp quickly and cut you off and you're ****ed.

On the bigger road courses. Here in Kansas, we have Heartland Park in Topeka which has a one of the best 1/4 strips plus it has a multi-mile road course with straights long enough to achieve 120mph in the G or 140mph if you're in a Viper, if you are daring enough.

LG, you seem to be in the Saint Louis area. Your mention of abandoned air strips reminds me that our consulting company needs one, for motorcycle and trailer testing. Got any leads?

Where you can hit 130 for under $300?? Hell, an empty freeway at 3am seems like a better option if im really that desperate to go that fast.

I dont live in Kansas and in about 30 secs i can get my car to 120 on a an empty stretch of road.

Closest track is Brainerd International raceway and i think the fastest i could hit on its straight is probably 100. Then have to fry my brakes to make the turn.

I just wish the US could have an tuobahn style road system.

Everyone hears 90mph and think ZOMGZILLA YOUR GOING 90!!

Okay, a plane takes off at probably 120-130mph. Snowmobiles can hit that quick in about 10 seconds.

I dont know, i guess im just real, but in the whole scheme of things, 90mph isnt that fast.
