Did anyone on the East coast get their 2004 G yet?

i was told of a 9/12 date, but it might come sooner. just called dealer but his outside contact is closed now. tomorrow i will get the additional info.

 

the 04's sedan are out in the san francisco bay area, so it should be out pretty soon in the west coast. but i am wondering, how much discount can i get from a 04 sedan at this moment? does anyone know? and for those who bought the 04's sedan already, how much did you pay? any feed back will be helpful. thanks.

 

I was able to negotiate $600 over invoice on an '04 sedan order in Southern CA. Another dealer, about 80 miles away (in the LA area) was willing to go $500 over. Shouldn't be too hard to find a good deal.

 

Yep, picked up my '04 last Wed. (8/20)...Virginia Beach, VA. Put my deposit down in May and the order went in the first week of June. It was actually ordered as a 2003.5, but went in as an '04. Paid ~1500 off MSRP for it, and they didn't change the price for the '04 vs. what we agreed on for the '03.5. Granted, it's a 6MT and I had already optioned the premium and winter packages so there wasn't much additional that came standard on the '04.

 

mine situation was similar. i ordered an 03 but since it was a june order (6/3) it is an 04. if yours was a may, but missed the cutoff (5/3 or so), it too would have been a june (S order).

they agreed to the price we negotiated. though mine is a coupe.

 

Just checked the inventories of the 20 nearest dealers (via Infiniti's web site), and was a bit disturbed by the results: About 100 total 2004 sedans instock already, but only about 3 had 6MT. What gives???? This can't represent the ratio of actual sales, can it? Tell me it's not so!!!

Also, not a single car had the Aero body kit, like the one I ordered, (I realize that's a damn costly option for what you get, but you wouldn't think those were that rare if you look at the "rides" section here).

That sounds about right. I have noticed the same trend here in Southern California. I too opted for the full Aero package. They say the car should probably be here tomorrow (Yaye!!!).
