Anyways, you can start with swaping in a Coupe Mid-pipe, but that alone will NOT make your car sounds like a coupe / 350Z

so you might be better off trying sth aftermarket

The coupe mid-pipe coupled with the HKS dual tip sport muffler sounds way better than the coupe!

Cato - Don't know if I told you or not, but I did end up getting the HKS (hope to install it tomorrow...FINALLY!), as it's 62 degrees here in the Northeast today!

You are either going to love it or hate it. It is much louder than stock when coupled with the coupe mid-pipe.

I wished the coupe middy + HKS muffler would be louder

It does sound sweet though.

The combo sounds just right to me, any louder would not pass the wife factor!

Sound clips were posted by username "Andycon"...search for it.

The install went well, other than the PITA of removing the OEM muffler.... Cato - I absolutely love the exhaust note.....sounds sweet! I highly recommend it to others.

I have a 350z midpipe extended to fit the sedan with the HKS rear section and I love. Its not a bad sounding tone. Sounds great in the car and even better outside of it.

It's like asking how to get a baratone to sound like a trumpet --- you can get close to the same sound but you can't duplicate it since the piping, and hence resonating frequencies are different.

Best to listen to other combinations ...weigh how much droning you can live with.... decide how much you want to spend and then purchase the complete cat-back system or pieces.

Changing the cats and headers is another way to improve performance and increase the tone (and sound level) of your exhaust.

No easy answers since a sedan is not a coupe.
