I installed mine and flat out love it. Care needs to be taken on the install and the bolt on the shifter fork should not be over tighten. I used a spring from a 3' pop up sprinkler to hold up the shifter boot. 100% better than the stock shifter.

Another question, is the shifting really short or the length of the shift lever is lshort making it feel that the shifting is short, i installed the vodoo shift **** and the length of the shift **** has shortened by an inch making it feel that shifting is short throw. In other words when u shift from 1st to 2nd is the throw shorter than the stock

The B&M shifter is what the improvement is not the lever. I extended my lever by 3 inches to get the right angle for my arm. IM on the big side at 6'3" and the short lever was hard for me to use. The install is not hard at all, but you need to be careful about the bolt on the shifter fork. One great improvement over stock. Good mod for the money.
I did the install myself, and installed the t handel **** because I prefer that feel. It should not cause any problems with warrante if installed correct.
