Here are the videos: http://www.sah2o.com/russ/msr040106video/
7 videos 20-25min sessions.
I have never done a track event like this before and let me tell you. Autox is boring compared to this. I learned so much about driving in the two days at MSR that it has drastically helped me. I have also learned what my car needs done to it before another event. (Brakes definitely and some better tires if possible). But man, it was definitely exhausting on me and the car. 1-4 runs was the first day of learning. On 3-4 I was pushing to hard and was actually screwing up more than I should. 5-8 runs I did excellent and got promoted to blue group. We were going pretty fast on the track. I toped out 3rd and hit mid 1/4-1/2 in 4th gear on the straights.
The 7th run of the day my brakes started shaking the car bad and causing the ABS to kick in when it didn't need too. The 8th run the brakes seem to have done a bit better so they weren't as hot. The instructor drove my car on one of the runs in RED group and he scared the crap out of me on how good of a driver he is and the ability my car had in the advanced group! He was passing vettes, porches, etc. Amazed!
Anyways, am I addicted ? Hell yea!
Few car deaths at the track: Two C5 Vettes ate the oil pans off roading and hit big rocks. Oil all over. And one S2000 blew its oil filter seal and oil went everywhere and caught on fire. They had it out before too much damage was done.
I will definitely have advantage on alot of guys showing up for ZCCA convention this year.
