when is the best time to buy an '06?

with the 07's coming out in November, sould you wiat till October? wait until after the 07's are out and hop to find a 06 leftover optioned out the way you want?

i want an 07, but am hoping to nail a great deal on an 06. will they be really dealing those to move em? or still holding onto them as if nothing new is hapening?

thoughts?

when the 07 shows up, i'd imagine dealers will be dumping 06s to make room

I beleive in August they will start discounting the 06's G35, like they did last year for the 05's

I got my 05 last year in August, the 18th to be exact, at dealer's invoice.

Always best when the next year (07) is about to hit or has just hit the lots - as someone said dealers need to clear out old inventory. The very end of a month is also good - quotas need to be met.

I got mine in december. It was exactly what I was looking for and got it at invoice. I could've have got it for lower but I had a trade in. I would have say you would have to be pretty lucky to get the options you want and at the price you want at the end of the year. Usually, you would get the price you want but not the options or the color you want. Then again, it happened to me.

I would keep an eye out for any factory incentives during the summer. Otherwise, I would wait until the 07's start showing up on lots.

that's the whole point, but the trick is to get the dealer to absorb the depreciation. +1 on finding one w/ everything you want, and if you do, obviously don't let the dealer know that.
