Injen Intake

Hi all. I just purchased an Injen CAI. Before I install it, are there any installation suggestions? Also, I noticed that some peoples cars were stalling because of the foam padding being removed. Is this true? if so, is it the same case whether you have a sedan or the coupe? I noticed that one of our G35 owners has a coupe and it was there vehicle that was stalling. I am going to be putting this on the car tomorrow morning unless of coarse somebody can give me a reason not to. Thanks and be quick with the suggestions. I don't want to have it installed and then here about the bad issues with the injen. Thanks again.

Do you have the 5AT or the 6MT? I have the AT and removed the foam with no stall problems whatsoever (so far at least).

Re: Injen Intake

You did buy the RD 1992. That's the one for the 6MT. Also To make sure of no stall problems just cut away some of the Foam. I've had NO Problems been up to 130 and No Stall problem....

Re: Injen Intake

Thanks all. I tried to cut the foam the best that I could. It looks like my dog was chewing at it. LOL. I installed it and it looks great. It only took me an hour and a half. I am going to go test drive it right now! Thanks again.
