Folks who like the older 2003-2006 Cylindrical Dash interior

I think the older interior was very uniquely styled, the pop-out nav screen, the placement of the analog clock, and all. The new 2007 interiror is not bad....& probably better looking than most others in this class, but it is no longer unique. The 2007 interiror, also reminds me of the Lexus RX interior, especially the Vents. What do you folks think ?

I agree that the vents resemble those on the current RX. I'm a fan of the current vent design myself.

I agree, the current dash is unique, I liked the revamp in '05 over my '04.

I've always liked this setup except for the popup nav.
The nav almost seems like an after thought.
It also is more functional shrouded into the dash like the new one;
it cuts down on glare.

The vents are great, probable the best of any car I've had before.
Not sure about the new ones, they're not as refined looking in the pics.

I agree... I don't like how the front end looks like a small M either... I like what they did with the motor though...

I really like the dash layout on my 03, and found the revamped interior of the 05s a little nicer. Even though I have enjoyed the interior in my 03, I really like the interior of the 07 better.....although that is solely based on pictures.

I also love my 03 dash but after 4 years I'm ready to move on with a change. Hopefully the pictures and words hold true and the new dash / cabin is more refined.
