No Road Hazard Warranty on tires??

OEM tires on the 07 G35X Sedan
My dealer advises the OEM tires will be Bridgestone, and that there is NO road hazard warranty from either Infinti Canada or Bridgestone Canada. Only defects warranty. That sounds odd.
Can anyone confirm this?
Naturally he suggests I purchase the 4 yr $499 tires/rims warranty package.
Also, do we know what model tires are being supplied?? I know they are NOT run-flat.
