Infiniti should have included a removable mesh attachment to go over the ICC sensor if you don't plan on using it.

I wonder what happens when road debris and rocks end up flying into that thing at over 100mph....

Definitely can't be good...

Anyway, once a mandatory front license plate goes on the bumper, the additional hit to the car's looks from the ICC sensor will be trivial by comparison.
Thought about that as well....
I wonder if the sensor was disconnected if it would still function as normal cruise ctrl?
Or, fool the system somehow.
The sensor is probably detected as a resistive device with a feeback signal which = nothing in front.
It may be relatively easy to make up something to fool the system....
hmmmm another KPierson project?

Here is one more shot of the ICC bumper

Yeah, I agree. It doesn't seem to stand out as much on the Sport bumper.

Or better yet: How about rewiring that sucker to serve as a laser detector to be controlled from the NAV screen

Get down low to take a pic and then blow it up, and just about anything will look bad.

(Hmmm.... some exemptions on female anatomy do come to mind...)
