I have a G...but I beleive the limiter is the same on both.

redlined past 4k? are you only referring to new G's? i've redlined my G several times taking on beating/losing to other cars LOL....one time i hit 6700K shifting to 3rd by mistake and i freaked out....i swear i gave the G the star treatment the next day (changed oil, cleaned out the engine, carswash, changed and topped up all fluids)

I wonder if my "friend" ***'d the engine... His commute is stop and go which should be good (no driving at same speed for long distances).
