Ridiculous to me that Infiniti put a limiter in the Sport. Oh well though, think I hit 130 once in four years in my last car, hard to complain too much.

I have a G...but I beleive the limiter is the same on both.

It's vaguely possible I was wrong, but if I was it was unintentional. I'd watch the way I talk if I were you bud.

redlined past 4k? are you only referring to new G's? i've redlined my G several times taking on beating/losing to other cars LOL....one time i hit 6700K shifting to 3rd by mistake and i freaked out....i swear i gave the G the star treatment the next day (changed oil, cleaned out the engine, carswash, changed and topped up all fluids)

I hope you're kidding about the f*** the engine part. LOL, if it was that critical the cars would be equipped with a rev limiter preventing anything ove 4k for the break in period. My car saw redline many times well before the halfway point of the break in and it works great.
