I have a weakness for 20 year old hotties though, so even if she came out laughing I probably couldn't be mean to her.

As to the other part of your post, are you a lawyer? Do you know how state laws apply for accident property damage?
If not, no offense intended, but your opinion is useless.
I've talked to multiple lawyers. None will take the case. Minnesota state law does not require insurance companies cover diminshed value. All they have to do is pay for repairs. Period. The damage is enough to **** me off, but not enough to even come close to totalling the vehicle. Only way I'm getting a replacement vehicle is if it was enough to total it. The absolute best odds I got out of a lawyer I talked to is 25% change I'll win. With those odds, they won't take the case under contingency, and at an hourly rate of $200-300, the insurance companies will easily bury me with legal fees.
In other words, it ain't gonna happen. I'd have a better chance getting head from her than getting a replacement car.

Sorry...
Sorry about your car, dopey.
To your credit you seem to be taking the high road.
I know I made a ton of mistakes at 20. But I wasn't a hottie...
Good luck with the repairs. Settle for nothing less than PERFECT...
