1 1/2 weeks old.
and it's already messed up.
stopped at a red light and a 20 year old hottie hits me.
she was hot though.
and crying.
so i couldn't be mean to her.
but damn it!!!
rear bumper is all messed up. trunk messed up. parts of the back are sticking into the trunk. rear passenger bumper and wheel wheel is rubbing against the rear tire.
This really really really sucks!!

So here's a question - I was randomly pondering what to do if someone hit my car (there's some paranoia...), and it occurred to me that if the car is new enough, and the resale value goes down from a hit, why not demand the car be completely replaced?

I have no idea if this is viable (I'm sure it would be hard to the point of having to initiate a lawsuit), but if the damage is bad enough, screw it.

And BTW, you should at least demand a $1k or 2 for diminished resale value (I know that one is possible).
