got my first car in high school..and it was a solar yellow 2001 nissan xterra 4x4........loved the color senior year, but when college hit me, it wasn't as flattering. Drove it for almost 8yrs and the thing require a tramission overhaul, change of timing belt, engine is eatting up too much gas, broken bumper front and rear, the front alignment always sways left no matter how many times i get it fix, and the rear doors won't open from the inside. In addition to several dents!
BUT...it gave me the most amazing off roading experience EVER!!!! Drove better then several new SUVs i tested in the same price range. Still loved the car, drove it and beat it til today! Now i'm 23, and finally able to purchased my first car and it is the 2008 IP G35x!!!
so beautiful....

1988 Mercury Cougar (5.0L V8 - car was a beast)
1992 Plymouth Acclaim (3.0L Mitsubishi V6 - surprisingly quick)
2003 Mazda 6s (3.0L Ford Duratec V6 - I4 acceleration, V8 fuel economy)
- I agree with timpiroli, total piece of crap (though I hear the I4s were reliable), had the engine replaced under warranty at ~62K, started going again on me at 90k, that's when I decided to move on (was trying to live with it save money since it was paid off).
2007 G35x - huge step up, am loving it
