I came from a 07 BMW 530i. I loved everything about the car expect its speed compared to the G. The BMW handled wayyy better than the G and the breaks were amazing. I like the G in its own way its fast and sporty. Infiniti could have done a better job with the breaks and handling. IMO

Going from a 540 M-sport to G35xS. The G has better handling and is more agile than my 540 (which has excellent handling btw, just not as agile as the G35). The G35 is also quicker, has slightly more room and has way better technology if you get the nav and tech packages. I dont understand people who say that their bmw had better handling - I suppose they feel like they have to say so because everyone else does and because the bmw costs more.

The G will definitely be an upgrade for me.

What year was your BMW? I found that the 335 handled better than the G35 I purchased. I couldn't justify paying 10G more for the 335 but I can't argue that it handled better.

03 540i with M-sport package which makes a big difference to the handling. And I test drove an 08 550i and found that it felt more aloof and much softer than my 540. and the G35s I have test driven handles better than both.

For me its not about the price difference - the G35 simply gives me better acceleration, better handling, slightly more room and lot more technology compared to the 540/550.

05 Accord/96 911 - 08 G

I went from a 96 911 and an 05 Honda Accord to an 08 G35 that I picked up yesterday. The 911 is gone but the 05 Honda Accord EX v6 is for sale if anyone is interested .

Good to know that the g35 has more room than the 5 series. I came from a 2001 Acura TL, which was larger inside than today's TL and the G35. I would have kept it longer, but unfortunately, someone decided to stop their car about 6 inches into my driver's door.

At least the timing was good - tough to think of a better time to buy a car.
