it's a wash. 05 sti to 08 g35s. the G's basically a jdm buick with a manual transmission. I upgraded in comfort and included amenities, and downgraded significantly in performance and the fact that the G simply isn't anywhere near as much of a driver's car in comparison to the sti.

I'm happy with it, but I'm realistic about my g.

i came directly from a 1998 240SX with some suspension work to my current 04 6MT coupe.

I've also had everything from an 81 Chevette, 87 Saab 900, 95 Accord coupe, Audi A4, and a 300ZX Twin Turbo

2000 Audi A4 1.8T... the thing was a dump one of the main reasons i didn't even step foot in the Audi Dealership although the new a5 are hot.

Upgraded to an 08 journey black on black with prem, nav. sport wheels... never been happier.

avalanche

I traded in my 07 Avalanche for an 07 g35s. Gas was killing me. I loved that truck, I had 24 inch davinci rims, dvd player, dual exhaust, custom grille. But I am extremely satisfied with the g, this vehicle is so fun to drivem I look forward to driving it everyday. My wife has an 07 g35 coupe, today was the first day we actually switched up, now she wished she had gotten the sedan also.

A combination of vehicles. I just traded my 99 Spyder GST on my wifes truck. Which left me with a 94 Camry w/261k miles. It goes bye bye tomorrow. Hello Infiniti.

I've gone through: 84 Honda Prelude, 91 Nissan Sentra (college years), 96 Honda Civic, 96 Infiniti I30t, 2000 Nissan Maxima SE, 05 G35 and now 07 G35S. All my cars have been with manual transmissions (yes, even the I30t).

i went from a 1994 mkiv tt supra to my new '08 g35 sport ip 6 spd. in terms of thrill and excitement a definite downgrade. but as far as luxury and amenities an upgrade for sure. mkiv supras are still hands down my favorite car ever. i'm saving for a 1998 low mile 6spd right now and will keep it forever. i can't take anything away from the g though, it's a damn nice car.
