spoiler installed, quick question.

I only checked after I got home but I thought they would disable the 3rd brake light inside once the spoiler was installed. for those with spoilers, is the 3rd brake light on? can it be unplugged? thanks

I have a spoiler on my G35 Sport and the third brake light comes on. I am sure you can disconnect it somehow, however I've never tried.

Canuck...

Awesome tint job. I've always enjoyed seeing your car's photo on the threads in this forum, but the tint makes it look even better!

Thanks man, however the tint is just photoshopped (thanks to GEE35X)! I am getting the windows tinted, but just haven't gotten around to it yet......mostly because I don't drive it too much now.

Question

I would of thought that if you get the car with a factory installed spoiler, the factory would remove the interior brake light. For example would be the coupe. The factory installed spoiler does not come equipped with an interior brake light. I hope when my car comes that the 3rd brake light (interior) has been removed.

Why bother? Isn't it better to have yet another brake light to keep people from rear ending you?

Yeah, I have no plans at all to disconnect mine. I don't really see the point. It's not like you are actually removing the brake light, all you are doing is turning it off.......which IMO would look worse having a brake light that doesn't light up.

When you get your window tint on the rear window Shane, you wouldn't even see that brake light if it is disconnected.
