Looks like this thread got kinda sidetracked, but I figure I should continue here anyway.

Just an update on the project, I have 6 first articles of the remote key cover. By the time the vendor came up with these, they have started their national holiday and are shut down for two weeks. Printing was to be sub contracted out by them, but they couldn't do it before the holiday. I wanted to try working with a local vendor for printing to see what my options are.

Looks like BMW owners may be in a need of a cover more than us

Thanks for the info ... gotta get Infiniti done first though cause I have one! BTW, the one I've been carrying around has worked out great.

Thanks for the bump ... I am on top of it. Our supplier is still on national holiday until later this week. I still need to work out the printing details with them.

Maybe you could also print the button images on the outside - so we can remember what's underneath... DOH!

Thanks for asking. I am waiting for the first silk screened covers to come in.

I am also trying to get some that are embroidered, but not having very good results. The icons and text are too small so the embroidery looks very "jagged" on neoprene.

man, embroidered would be the most durable, but hopefully the silk-screening turns out ok.

thanks for the update.

Just an update on the intelligent key covers.

The factory is sending me the embroidered cover samples. As I suspected earlier and from the attached photo, I don’t think embroidery will work because the lines are too thin. I’m inclined to tell them to give up on this and to only proceed with silk screening. Comment welcomed.
