First road trip experiences

Drove from Phoenix to San Diego this past weekend, All I can say is this car's a BLAST to drive through the mountains. I have 1550 miles on it, and its getting fairly good gas mileage. It handled great on the open road and was quite and smooth the whole way. the nav worked great, the seat warmers take FOREVER to heat up, probably my only issue with the car.

Sounds like you had a great drive, John.......I'm jealour of that driving weather you have.., we're months away from anything like that......

Those seats are typical Infiniti....but next time you're in the shop, tell the service manager about them -- there may be something they can do.

Ya, the weather's been cold and wet here in AZ, been having ALOT of fun without the traction control, it's a wicked drift machine, the chassis feels really solid, i'd like to feel it lowered about an inch, possible with some larger rubber in the rear.

My girlfriend's only complaint was the dual climate control wasn't work right. It would only blow cold air on the pass. side unless set at 89-90 degrees.

Daniel, a bunch of us members are taking a road trip to Quebec City at the end of June. It would be great if you could make it in your new G.

Thanks for the information. I am looking forward to a long drive, maybe a trip from LA to Las Vegas or something, where there is long stretches of open road. For now, I will have to settle for long trips up and down LA freeways to get to work.
