Poll: Wood or Aluminum trim?

Debating on this. Wood seems a little more upscale, but the aluminum will go nicely with graphite interior. Thoughts?

Yeah. We got Obsidian Black on Graphite leather, so I think wood would just look gross. If I got another interior color like wheat, Aluminum would look gross, so i would go with the wood. I don't think that the wood really makes it looks upscale, It just depends what color interior you have.

I thought the wood only looked good with the wheat, whereas the aluminum seemed ok with them all. But I have never really liked wood, so I am biased.

If you are getting graphite interior, I like the aluminum much better.

I guess it depends on whether you want to go sporty or luxury. And the color may play a factor as well.

Don't know how much info you have so I will give you the basics.

The sport models only come with aluminum. With the other models, wood is a 400.00 option.

I was on the fence like you, but I decided to go with the sport so my mind was made up for me. And I also think I might get tired of the wood over time.

Again...just a personal preference thing...

There are some combos people select that I couldn't live with. And I am sure that they wouldn't like my choices, either

The aluminum with graphite is sharp IMO. Especially with black, white, PG or LP.

Good luck making up your mind. I have the interior down but I am still on the fence for the exterior.

Hey, I would say I am older but no way do I like wood, I guess I'm not that old, I'm still in my 50's
Does that mean I am still in the young fart category ?????

I went in thinking I would want the rosewood for a more upscale look, but the car I bought had aluminum (lakshore slate/stone int.)

Now I really like it and prefer it to the wood - I think that the "washi" texture is very successful and also makes it distinctive from other aluminum trim out there.

Is there a Middle Fart Club? I seem to be stuck between the OF and YF.

I'm getting journey with obsidian black/graphite interior. There are two models I'm debating:

1. prem, nav, wood, tech, perf. tires
2. prem, nav, aluminum, tech, perf. tires

#2 is about $450 cheaper because of the wood option on #1. Decisions....
