I have the lights set to Auto but they are on in broad daylight...I played with the sensitivity option but still they are on...Anyone have any ideas?

Does it come back on if you turn if off and put it back to Auto ?
(while you remain in bright outdoor light ??)

Possibly a stupid question, but do you have daytime running lights (i.e. are your dash lights dimmed too)? Sometimes that's a dealer-installed "option".

Otherwise, sounds like a bad sensor. Note that mine sometimes come on in limited light (toward the end of the day, long shadows, no direct sunlight), but not with the sun actually shining on them.

Are the fog lights on or is it the main HID lights? If it's the fogs then you probably do have DRL like all of us up in the GWN.

Let's try another approach ... what country do you live in? That will hint to us as to whether or not you have DRL.

If you have a US spec car, what you describe sounds really odd .....

Maybe a trip the dealer is in order ??
Maybe the headlight sensor is stuck in its "dark" state hence always powering on the headlights.

Do the headlights go off when you turn the switch to off ?? In that case you have a workaround till it gets fixed !
