Picked up my new G today

Well after only 1 day my dealer located the car I wanted in VA. I picked her up a few hours ago and I absolutely love the car. This car is so much nicer than my 04. Now I just have to wait until I get off work at 9:00 PM (Acura car salesman ).

That's hilarious!

Does your dealership sell Infiniti too?

Congrats! And enjoy!

Nope just Acura. Only about half the salesmen drive Acuras. Alot of MB, Lexus and now Infiniti.

Congrats. The MDX is and excellent SUV, but just isn't nearly as much fun to drive as the G.

Totally agree on the MDX being an excellent SUV. That's what the wife drives, an 02 MDX and we anxiously waited for like 7 months before it arrived. Now we just need to trade it in for a new MDX next year and we will both be all set for a while LOL.

Congratulations! I have the exact same car you got. G35x/Liquid Platinum/graphite/nav/tech/prem/rosewood. Great choice. I also seriously considered the Acura TL. After test driving half a dozen cars, I had settled for the Acura TL. I called the Acura salesman and bargained over the phone for the price before going there for my second visit to officially purchase the car. I had scheduled an appointment with the Acura salesman. Then, on the night before the appointment, I did some research and discovered the G35, which I had not been familiar with until then. I decided to go to the Infiniti dealer an hour before my appointment with the Acura dealer. The Infiniti dealer was right across the street from the Acura dealer. While I was in the Infiniti dealer's parking lot waiting to test drive the G35, I could see the Acura salesman right across the street hanging out with other salesmen! I felt somewhat guilty at that point. Then, I test drove the G35 and absolutely loved it! My wife, sitting in the passenger seat, immediately fell in love with the car even before she test drove it. She could feel the acceleration, and how much more it had over the Acura at that point. For just a little more for the price of the Acura TL, I got a lot more out of the G35, especially AWD. AWD was a huge factor in my choice, something that the Acura TL could not match.

LOL... I have that same story!

After buying the MDX and them knowing I wanted a second vehicle, they started pushing the TL.
Even got to take one home 4 times, including the Type-S

Settled for the Moroccan Red Type-S with 18's and the A-Spec body package.
I decided to give the G a test drive before buying the TL and never looked back.
LOL
