Talking LOL, What An Idiot

I was coming back from an errand I had to run this afternoon when something weird happened. I backed my car in the garage like I always do, shut my car off and got out of the car. As soon as I closed the door, this somewhat loud constant warning sound started. I immediately thought it was a warning that I left my headlights on.......but then I remembered that my headlights are set to shut off automatically. I got back in the car and shut the headlights off completely. I closed the door, and again the warning sound started again. At this point I was a little perplexed because everything was turned off and I really had no idea what the hell this sound was. I was actually starting to get a little p!ssed because I thought something was wrong with my G.

After about 20 minutes of frigging around with everything and having a dazed and confused look on my face, I noticed that my G was still in Drive! Apparently I just pushed the ON/Off ignition button without putting it back in Park. I had to laugh at myself since I spent 20 minutes trying figure out what the hell was wrong......but at the same time I felt like a dumb@ss!

that whining sound is either some sort of accessory i havent been able to nail down yet. sounds like a fuel pump but it comes from the engine bay. you'll hear it if you leave the car in "on" but without the engine running. because you were still in drive the car didnt shut completely off.

Yep, it was definitely coming from the engine bay.....somewhere on the driver's side of the engine bay. I opened the hood to see where this alarm was coming from.

They have the voice for Nav they should have a voice warning system.

Then the woman can say, "hey dumb a** you left me in Drive".

I still wanna know, What happens if you bump the button while doing 75 down the highway???

But I can do one better.
I constantly reach out and hit the button, and shut the car off.
I then take my hand away, open the door to get out, and then reach back to take the keys out of the ignition.

Car has me feeling like an idiot.
