CD-RW for music box?

Has anyone used CD-RWs to download onto their music box. Seems like it would be a good option, seeing as you can re-burn them and use them over and over.

I assume you want to use CD-RW to put mixed compilation disks in the music box cause it doesn't make sense to rip an entire original CD for sunsequent ripping to the music box. The problem is you will end up filling in all the track info manually. Most people only rip purchased CDs to the music box so the gracenote feature will fill in the track info (metadata).

Use your CF card reader. It maintains the MP3 metadata for up to 512 songs per card.

I use cd rws. Don't really care about the track info as long as I have the song title.

Track info will also provide you with: the artist, song, and album names. You can name the song title whatever you want on a ripped CD, but on a retail CD, you will get the info mentioned above as well. I personally don't care for it much either.

They really should have allowed ripping to music box from the CF card.

I actually have a ton of albums on my hard drive that are not from original discs, but from downloaded discs. That's why I wanted to avoid re-burning them all on CD-Rs just to then throw them away.
