I got similar to yours WITHOUT the spoiler and all-season mats for $36,842.

But then saw you traded-in for a lower price, now I feel better. Just kidding man, congrats on the deal and new car.

Sometimes I dread reading this thread again, because it's inevitable the price will continue to come down over time, kinda like buying a computer which becomes cheaper and more powerful within months of buying it.

Quote: IP G35 Sport Auto with Premium, Technology, Spoiler, Navi, Trunk Net, All Weather Mats, Splash Guards for $36857.

I traded in my 06 G35 Coupe with Premium for $26500, it's kind of low. But it helped to reduce the sales tax on the new one.

Chicago Sport/NAV/premium
I am starting to look for a Sport/NAV/Premium in the Chicago area. Bought my first G at Fields Infiniti in 02 and periodically stop by on Saturdays for my free wash and sometimes shoot the sh*t with the sales guy to kill some time.

A couple months ago, he said that the combo I was looking at could run close to invoice of 35.5; realistically around 36k. I went there yesterday walked in asked what kind of deal they could work out mentioned that I had seen close to invoice pricing on the forum and other sites and all of a sudden he says oh no, things have changed the demand has picked up we can't sell for that low. We have been selling about 1,000 under MSRP (or 37.7k). It's kind of funny that he mentioned that because the specific car we were talking about has been sitting on their lot for 3 months...

Any suggestions? comments? thoughts?

Thanks!

in los angeles, you should easily get $400 below invoice. That's what I ended up with, but I didn't buy the car because I was having 2nd thoughts about it.

You gonna trust what the sales guy says?

I am contacting dealers to get IP sports with premium, tech, and navigation.
Just wondering what other people are paying in Houston TX. So far invoice +1000 is the best offer i have.
Thanks!!

Just got my new G35 in Austin
Well 'got' is an exaggeration - I just agreed to a deal with Austin Infiniti on a G35 Journey/Prem/Nav/Tech/Wood/Splash guards for $1100 over invoice - I didn't really bargain too much as this seemed like a fair price and there was only 1 to be found that matched that equipment in the vicinity.

Got tint thrown in for free and bought the clearbra for $650 (again, fair price based on what I've read here).

If you're looking in Austin, ask for Howard Shaw he was the sales guy and was pretty staightforward, no run around.

Now I just have to wait for about 10 days till it arrives

Not likely to see those on an '07 sedan in TX - most of the dlrs in TX are starting close to MSRP and you have to go from there in the negotiation. CA is a little different I hear but can't comment on since I haven't shopped there.

some of you can ship the car from cali. probably cheaper than trying to negotiate with the bastards in your home state. Better selection too.

I understand in other states you can get better deals. In Houston, there are only 4 Infinity dealer shops and they are owned by 2 people i believe. Which means harder to deal the price. I think $1,000 over invoice is a decent deal given situation. I am meeting the internet manager this coming Saturday and will talk about the price. I will let you know.
Thanks!!

just picked up a 07 G35 sport with prem and navi packages. Paid $34,200 before taxes on a VPP plan A and also got a 5.49% finance rate with no money down. I think i did pretty good considering the sticker price on it was $38,600.

How does this deal sound?
