Hi everyone! First time poster! I registered for infinitiowners.com or something but that site is pretty dead compared to this one... Anyway, thought I'd add what I got my 07 G35 Sport for..

Got it in the NYC area last month.. MSRP was 39k+

I talked it down to a little over 36,300, came fully equipped with:

Premium package
Navi
Technology
Cargo Net
Splash Guards

Hopefully I got a good deal! Even if not, don't really care cuz this car is DEFINITELY WORTH IT!!! Reading up on all the break-in procedures and how to wash/wax has definitely been helpful. This is my first new car! The old cars I've driven were my parents' and I never took good care of em but I will definitely be taking care of this one like a newborn child.

Or anywhere in SoCal. I'm looking for an 07 G35S 6MT w/Premium and Sirius and am trying to determine what a reasonable final price range is.

I've seen a few statements here and on other boards indicating $300-$400 below invoice is do-able, but I'd really like to know what dealers are doing these deals. I live in San Diego, but will go anywhere up to Santa Barbara to secure this type of a deal.

Thanks for your help.

Nice.

Anyone think a G35 Journey with Prem only for $34k OTD is doable?

Just purchased 07 6MT at the end of May in Los Angeles

Options: Premium Package, Navigation, Painted Splash
Guards, Trunk Mat, Ivory Pearl

Sticker: $39,705
Invoice: $36,327
Paid: $34634.38

No trade in and secured financing through my credit union.

I did a lot of research before going in on Fightingchance.com and it paid off.

Invoice on that car should be more like $34213.... Where did you get the $36327 price? That invoice would have to include tech and the Steer Pkg to get close to the 36k number.

I think they mustve shown you "their version" of the invoice which probably included the dealer kickback or something like that. Unless things are different out on the west coast, that is quite a bit above the invoice price.

The pricing you show is for the sedan not the coupe. I got my invoice pricing for the coupe outside of the dealership.

????? You are in a sedan thread....

Of course you can get a great deal on an 07 coupe.... Everyone is waiting on the G37.

Because of my dad's employer (seems like many of you have VPP discounts), we automatically get below invoice. 1.65% to be exact. So he computed a bunch of numbers:

Invoice: $35692.00
VPP Discount: -$588.92
Subtotal: $35103

Now you add the bunch of fees and what not and the price balloons back up to a grand total of $36780.66

Is that a good price for a nearly fully loaded G35S Auto?

Any experiences w/ Ray Catena?
We recently moved and we use to live a bit farther north so I know about the Infiniti dealer in Summit. Douglass Infiniti is dwarfed by Ray Catena in size but I could care less as long as service quality is high.

There's Ramsey Infiniti all the way up north
Salerno Duane use to sell just Jeeps and Fords in the Summit/Springfield/New Providence area but it was just recently that I found out that they sold Infinitis too. Any insight on them?
I have dealt with both Douglas in Summit and Salerno Duane in Randolph. Have bought cars from both of them in the past 2 months, a used coupe for my son and a new G35x for myself. I found them both to be reasonable with pricing....$325.00 over invoice for mine.....cash deal. I bought mine from Salerno Duane because they had the only red around with what I wanted. Basically, Infiniti has to provide a loaner car no matter where you buy the car, go for the best deal and have it serviced at the most convenient location.

Everyone had flexibility once I had an offer - got mine at Austin Infiniti $1100 over invoice G35 Journey/Nav/Tech/Wood - The sales guy was Howard Shaw - he was cool about posting his name so give him a call and he'd likely do the deal again.

BTW - After I had the deal a bunch of other dealers (Houston and Dallas) who were stuck on MSRP were willing to negotiate - surprise, surprise!

Big problem I had was finding the car I wanted.

Finding a 6MT is proving to be quite difficult. My local dealer (Austin) has one but they're only giving $1500 off of sticker and the car was in an accident (needs a new rear bumper).

Grubbs had a good deal on one but it already sold. Are more shipments going to come in of 07 6MTs or are they all done for the model year?

Thanks,
Brian

Tried Austin Infiniti...

They did not want to deal... Those guys were nice though. I would try Gunn Infiniti in San Antonio. Duane Teal there was very helpful and nice. He got the car I wanted quickly and was very upfront about pricing. I did not care about the pricing we had negotiated because I had found out I had VPP through my wife's company.
