Creaks
Since new (Jan) I've noticed my G35x creaks from the rear when reversing off the driveway first thing. I usually drop one wheel at a time and the creak is heard as the first wheel is going down the kerb. Sounds like it could be door seals moving when the body flexes, but I thought these cars were supposed to be super stiff in torsion (my 16yo M5 never did this with over 160,000kms on the clock). I don't hear the creak again until the next day.
Anybody else? I'm going to comment it on my next service.

Believe it or not, the word is valid:

Kerb = curb FTW...
Sorry - it's my British ancestry showing through. Stop me before I say tyres (tires) or boot (trunk) or bonnet (hood) or wing (fender) or, heaven forfend: petrol.
My driveway crosses the residential sidewalk, and in Calgary, you don't get a ramp, just a rounded kerb. (At least it isn't square.) Still, the drop is relatively tall and it causes the body to twist, hence the creak.

I've read (in the coupe section) about a few others experiencing this problem. Some have attributed the issue to insufficient grease on the innards of the sunroof.
Hope this helps.

LOL. No worries mate! (some Australian influence during my business trips there!)
These cars are SO quiet, that it might be anything. Some rubber on something somewhere.
Good suggestion at getting a tech to listen in - these guys are quite good and might hear the origin.
Good on ya!

Considering Infiniti drags their feet when it comes to taking care of the TSBs on the newer cars, I wouldn't count out the Sunroof seal as a possibility, since it was the culprit for a similar creaking on the earlier G35s.

I've recently heard a few creaks here and there too but not much enough to annoy me. I have an 04 6mt. I reversed out of my driveway and got the same problem.
I heard creaking when going over the curb of my driveway, also. While repairing the accordion panel on the sunroof, I noticed that my sunroof was making the same creaking noise that I was hearing while driving if I pushed up and down on it. A little weatherstrip conditioner on the seal, and the creaking is gone!
I'm glad that the creaking wasn't coming from the body/chassis!
