What do you guys use as aftermarket floor mats. I love the floor mats that came with the G35 Sport but Id like to protect them with some sort of clear floor mats that will last a good while. Id like to able to see the black floor mats under it. Anyone using anything like this?

In other news, i finally got my G35 Sport on memorial day . Blue slate with navi and premium packages. Love the car.

Anu, congrats on picking up your G! Unfortunately I can't help you with your question on the floormats since I just use the OEM mats. Welcome to the forum though.

Welcome! I purchased the Rubber floormats from infiniti for my coupe. They fit just right, match the interior color, and still have the infiniti logo on them. Simple cleaning' just hit em with the hose and dry em. you should look into that'

Get the Infiniti all-season mats in black/grpahite. You just spray them with a hose to clean off once in awhile.

WeatherTech has rubber "all-season" floormats.
Never used 'em - but have heard good things about their products.

+1 they look good and are easy to clean. Shop around - Grubbs has them for a good deal (my dealer wanted to much but then again I am in FL)

Picked up a set of these Weather Tech mats last month. Great product and really save the OEM carpet mats. Toughest part for me was the choice of color. I have stone interior and the gray mats were too dark. If I were to do it again, I would have went with the black mats and continued the two tone theme of the stone interior.

a couple of years ago, started taking out the factory floor mats from all our vehicles and storing them. the reasoning is that they are a high wear item and often difficult to find factory replacements several years down the road when it's time to sell the vehicle. i store them flat and then when i'm ready to sell, i have essentially brand new floor mats that cover up a lot of sins in the carpet.

i usually view the floor mats as a high wear item so i just find the cheapest ones i can that will fit my car/truck. sams often has them on sale for a whole set of heavy duty rubber ones for 20-30 bucks. i know, a lot of folks want everything to be perfect and want the logo or the custom fit, but you always have the nice clean factory mats you can slide in temporarily if you want to impress, and meanwhile, you can save your dollars for something more exciting.

just one approach that has worked well for me. ;-)
