Infiniti May Sales - G Sedan hits 5,000!!

Why can't a smaller G be a good thing? It would be like a 4-door A3 or Acura TSX. Even BMW is coming out with the 1-series. I don't consider a Maxima a smaller version of the G. Nor the Altima.
Since it is smaller and as a result weighs less, it will cost less to produce and sell. If a loaded G is 40k, a loaded model X could be 32-33k and offer all the same amenities of the G. I think alot of people would want a more nimble, lighter, and powerful RWD luxury car. Right now, the G is basically a smaller verison of the M. and this other model would be asmaller version of the G.
A 3,200 lb. Infiniti RWD sedan with the 3.7 or 3.5 HR would be one fun car and a serious consideration for me.

The Altima and the Maxima are BIG cars. And even loaded never give off the sense of luxury. I'm talking about a smaller version of the G. RWD, FM platform, VQ engine, 6-speed. Just smaller with all the G gadgets and style.
Oops, Ignore the above. I misread your post. I still don't see why a smaller G can't sell for 5k less than the G and offer all the same amenities and style.
