Did the display show the "61" mentioned in instructions when it went into diag mode? From what I read it says at this point you adjust it via the temp control ****.
I couldn't get 61 to display, it puts it into diagnostic mode but then pushing (or holding) plus button doesn't do anything.

Turning driver's side temp **** changes number at top from 3, 4, 41 or something like that.

No hurry, thanks again for all your help. This will be pretty cool if I can calibrate.

The G35s 6MT console doesn't have rear vents nor are there any floor vents.

My S doesn't have rear vents like that. I wonder if that's something that comes on X models since they're more likely to be used in varying climates (although the under the seat heaters are more important than those vents in the winter.

The 6MT doesn't get the rear console vents, AT S models do. Thought everyone got the floor vents though?

Ok... so I went out and tried myself. I could not get mine to go into diagnostic mode. Maybe you can give me some tips.

The 3,4,41 I see are references in the SM. Did you simply start car and immediately hold Climate off button down for 5 seconds?

I must have re-started my car 10 times trying this.... no luck

EDIT: Ok.. figured it out getting into mode. I didn't need to start car.

Wait until after Infiniti splash screen shows up before hitting Climate Off button.

Ok.... here is how to get to setting quickly:

1. Turn ignition to ON position.
2. After Infiniti splash screen disappears hold Climate OFF button for about 5 seconds or until you see the word OUTSIDE in upper right corner of screen.
3. Rotate driver temp **** clockwise until you see the number 51 in upper right corner of screen.
4. Press the FAN + button once. You will now see 61 really quickly in upper right corner of screen. It will then change to "0"
5. Using the driver temp **** you can adjust +/- 6 degrees.

Let me how it goes. It says this setting gets erased if battery ever goes dead as well.

To view the temps of sensors follow above steps to #3 then--->

Press Front Defogger switch one: Ambient Sensor Temp
Press Front Defogger switch again: In vehicle sensor temp
Once more: Intake sensor temp

When scrolling through numbers they represent tests for the follow:
2:sensors
3:door functioning properly
4:door motors functioning properly

You can also change the air/flow distribution in foot position.

Foot Position Setting Trimmer
Wind distribution ratio in FOOT mode can be set.

It will then change to "0"
5. Use the MODE button to change this setting. Refer to screenshot for airflow distributions.

Trecherous, thanks a million.

I will try tomorrow after I sober up.

Drank too much Jack Daniel's to attempt this now.

Did this yesterday - a few times; tried a few different settings - and it worked great. I ended up using the +4 setting, which quieted down the system quite a bit. Thanks very much for your help, Treach.
