Moonroof lining falling out?

I have an '07 G sedan and I sometimes find that the rubber moonroof lining on the sides (the ones that fold up and down with the moonroof) tends to fall out.

I can easily put it back, but it is quite annoying. Has anyone else experienced this?

I have the same problem.

Is there a solution?

How about asking the dealer to use some glue?

There's a TSB on this; it's a simple fix.

The TSB (unless they've changed it) is sticky tape...

Basically it's a flawed design, there is no real fix.

It also takes about 5 seconds to pop back in yourself or use double sided tape squares if you want a permanent fix.

Provided it didn't fly out your window, like mine did.

Yeah... it really, really sucked. One flew out my sunroof, and the other one dropped on top of my head while I was driving.

FWIW, I scheduled my 3700 mile oil change and my wife, the primary driver, just had the plastic piece fall out of the sun roof. One side completely fell out and the other side is just dangling.

I was expecting/waiting for it to go and it finally did. She likes to drive with the roof open a lot.

Simple fix but you would think it is something that would have been corrected or fixed before it's delivered.

One time I had my moonroof open as I was following another '07 sedan. Then, something flew straight at me, landing through my roof, and smacked me in the head. THAT WAS YOU!

j/k
