How many have gotten your grills replaced?
Back from the dead,
So about a month ago my car was hit. . .front bumper and grill had to be replaced. . .
After about 3 weeks the new grill is holding up a lot better than the original,
actually no noticable chips what so ever compared to lots on the old.
Also the paint on the front bumper, I wasnt thrilled at first. . .I noticed a couple very small blemishes. . .that only I' notice or care about,
anyhow the new paint seems to be holding up better to chipping as well!
Maybe they baked it longer or added more clear coats than the factory who knows. . .?

I'm getting my grill replaced later this week, as soon as the part comes in. I mentioned my concerns about the chipping when I brought my car in for the oil change, key recall, and cruise TSB. He said he would look and see if there was anything about it, or a new part, but said it typically wasn't covered under warranty. I said, OK, well, I just want to keep complaining about it so that maybe they will do something. Later he called me up and said they were going to good will warranty it, so I'm happy. Hopefully the new one will hold up better.
