How many have gotten your grills replaced?

I am just curious, I had called Infiniti of Chantilly for my service appointment, and I was told it wouldnt be a problem. Now, they call back and say that they cannot do it under warranty. So, I basically wasted a few hours of my life taking it to the Infiniti dealership for an oil change and they are not going to replace the grill. I am not really happy about it.... so how many of you have had them swapped out?!?!

Had mine done over a month ago. The dealer said the replacement grill wasn't available yet (improved one). They replaced mine with another new grill. When the new improved grill comes they are going to replace mine again.

Tons of rock chips. I only had my car for 3 months when I noticed it.

I am in CT. I don't think it is that they don't want to change it. I don't think the replacement grill has been issued yet. When it is available I imagine the dealers will replace them as soon as they get in

Got mine replaced in the first 3 months. I now have 27000 miles on the car and the second grille seems to be holding up much better. I don't know which is worse the grille pitting or my windshield pitting. I'm trying to get them to replace the windshield because it looks like it has been sandblasted!

Someone above said there might be a replacement model? Is there any truth to this?

I just switched mine out with a gilla grill. There wasnt anything to it. It took me about 30 minutes to pull the old one and replace it with my new gilla. There are threads on the forum for it.
