FYI: im not looking into getting any stickon buldging shiney kits, its more OEM style carbon fiber wrapping around the original pieces.

I tend to favor the 1x1 plain weave pattern over the 2x2 twill weave pattern.

the 2x2 twill pattern is the directional one, and that can lead to many
problems with lines not matching up right and the exact dirction of the
diagonal weave not matching up and all kinds of other problems that can
make your wrapped pieces look terrible.

^1x1 plain weave

^2x2 twill weave

piece on the left is 2x2, piece on the right (Mugen) is 1x1.

also I much prefer a matte finish vs. a glossy one.
especially on the interior.
in the engine bay a gloss finish isn't so bad, but inside...
I think it makes it look cheap.

carbon fiber is not the most luxuriest of materials out there.
but wrapping existing OEM parts, if you do it yourself or know someone,
isn't all that expensive.

Looks plastic. I wish there was something like the carbon fiber leather on BMW M3.
